Greane Tree Technology President Annmarie Lanesey is looking forward to participating in the upcoming panel discussion and networking event entitled “From College to Career: How Did She Do It?” The event will be held in the Campus Center Assembly Hall at the University at Albany from 3 to 6 pm on Thursday, November 1. Panelists will discuss how they chose or chanced upon their current positions, what they like about technology and technology careers, the advantages and disadvantages of being a woman in a technology field, the importance of mentorship, and how to balance professional and personal life.

Also participating in the event will be Fran Berman, Professor of Computer Science, RPI, and former director of the San Diego Super Computing Center; Regina Kunkle Vice President, State & Local Higher Education Sales, NetApp; Nancy Mulholland Chief Information Officer, NYS Office of Transportation and Economic Development; and Michele Sweeney Senior Vice President/Senior Technology Manager, Bank of America. Christine E. Haile Chief Information Officer, University at Albany will moderate.
