Greane Tree Technology Group, LLC is proud to announce its placement in the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce’s business competition. Sixteen Capital Region businesses competed in the competition of the Chamber’s Entrepreneur Program. Prizes included $1000 cash sponsored by First Niagara Bank, a new printer/ scanner/ fax system from Repeat Business Systems, as well as a one year membership to the chamber. Nehme Frangie, vice president of partnerships and operations at Vicarious Visions in Menands –– the company that created such popular games as “Guitar Hero,” “Spider-Man” and “Tony Hawk” –– was the keynote speaker and inspired the businesses to forge ahead despite the current state of the economy. Honorable Michael Breslin, Albany County Executive, and Mark Eagan, Chamber president & CEO, also addressed the EAP graduates. The program was supported by the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, Empire State Development Corporation, and the Small Business Administration.
