Rensselaer County has been an integral part of Greane Tree Technology’s success. We were educated in Troy’s outstanding academic institutions; we’ve honed our skills in its vibrant technology sector. Although we love New York City and Boston, we prefer Troy because of its wonderful combination of historical and cultural riches and nearby natural beauty. Rensselaer County born-and-raised, we were extremely pleased to be one of the honorees at the Chamber of Commerce’s “Good News Rensselaer County” event on November 8.
Our fellow honorees — Brunswick Harley-Davidson, Garelick Farms, and Monolith Solar Associates, LLC — agree that Rensselaer County is a great place to live and work. We congratulate them on their success and thank them for their contributions to the local economy and lifestyle. Our businesses are very different, but we all share a commitment to, and affection for, this area.
As Greane Tree President Annmarie Lanesey said as she accepted our award, “It takes a community to raise a business. ”We’re grateful to Rensselaer County, and its Chamber of Commerce, for helping us to thrive.
