ANNMARIE LANESEY, President

Annmarie Lanesey, co-founder and President of Greane Tree Technology, brings over fifteen years of experience in technology and new media consulting to the management team. As manager of her own career in new media, Ms. Lanesey learned the importance of the business side of a creative practice. She enjoyed the marketing, PR and networking that are essential to success in the art world, and she wanted to apply those skills to projects of immediate practical use.

JOSEPH PAYETTE, JR., Chief Technology Officer

As co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Greane Tree Technology, Joseph Payette, Jr., oversees the analysis, architecture, development and quality control of our custom software as well as the technical production for software and new media projects. Mr. Payette earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and has many years of experience in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Jennifer Hixon

JENNIFER HIXON, Systems Analyst

Jennifer Hixon has over 25 years experience in corporate and non-profit computing and communications. She has worked for Morgan Stanley, the Fund for the City of New York and Corporate One Federal Credit Union. She has developed systems in Lotus Notes/Domino, Visual Basic, Java, PHP, and Ruby on Rails, integrated with MS SQLServer, Oracle and MySQL data repositories. She has served as business analyst and project manager both for in-house development and the installation and customization of vendor systems. On all of her assignments, she has been a liaison between technical and user communities. She has her bachelor's degree from Bryn Mawr College in Anthropology and her master's from Yale University in Slavic Languages and Literatures. Ms. Hixon serves on the Board of the Rensselaer Land Trust.

Gabriella Spain

GABRIELLA SPAIN, Web Developer

Gabriella Spain received her formal education in Web Development at Sage College of Albany. She worked as a Web Designer at AbleTech in Watervliet, New York, and at Greane Tree Technology, she is known as "the Drupal Ninja." She is also adept in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Photoshop, and Flash. She is a tester extraordinaire, using both automated and manual quality assurance techniques to identify sometimes subtle problems well before a system is released. Ms. Spain's artwork has been exhibited in a juried show, and she has been ranked by the World Cube Association for her speed in solving Rubik's cube puzzles.

Matthew Gerrior

MATTHEW GERRIOR, Web Developer

Matthew Gerrior's studies in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute confirmed his outstanding aptitude for software engineering. He was one of the principal coders on a study by RPI Professors Sanmay Das and Elliot Anshelevich comparing the long-term social welfare effects of different types of matching algorithms used in organ donation and employment recruiting applications. He is a co-author of the forthcoming article “On the Social Welfare of Mechanisms for Repeated Batch Matching.” Mr. Gerrior is proficient in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, C, C++, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, Unix, and OS X.
